Former striker of the Russian national football team Valery Kechinov reacted without enthusiasm to the transfer of defenders Tomas Tavares and Alexis Duarte to Spartak Moscow.

Duarte signed a contract with Spartak until the summer of 2027. For Cerro Porteno, the 22-year-old Paraguayan played 107 matches in which he scored one goal and made three assists. The player will sign a contract with the Moscow club until 2027.

Tomas’ contract runs until 2026 with an option to extend for a year. In May 2022, the 21-year-old Portuguese suffered a left knee injury while on loan at Basel. He recently returned to training. On account of his 26 matches for Benfica and nine games for the youth national team of Portugal.

Earlier, the agent of Spartak striker Keita Balde Federico Pastorello said that the striker can play in any position at the club.
