Mali: the Opposition fears the non-respect of the electoral calendar

On the timeline, the transition ends in March 2024. The Framework for Exchanges of Political Parties and Groups for the Return to Constitutional Order and the African Party for Democracy in Mali, African Solidarity and Justice Party (ADEMA-PASJ ) invite the transition authorities to respect the transition deadline of March 2024.

At the end of frank and very open exchanges on the issues, the framework for exchanges and ADEMA have emerged a convergence and an identity of view between the two (2) parties, especially with regard to the imperative to respect the deadline agreed for the return to constitutional order, the organization of the presidential election as being the priority, the search for consensus around a minimal constitutional revision. ” The discussions focused in particular on the issues related to political and institutional reforms, the elections in sight and the future relations between the two (2) parties with a view to contributing to the success of the transition in Mali”, have- they affirmed and continues that this meeting took place in an atmosphere of fraternity and conviviality, the framework of exchanges of political parties and groups for the return to constitutional order and ADEMA-PASJ discussed at length on the socio-political and security situation in Mali.
