In the NBA, the LA Lakers’ engine seems to be gradually coming up to speed. A brilliant Anthony Davis led his team to another victory last night by 55 points. Washington was the child of the bill this time.
After a dramatic start to the season, the LA Lakers seem to be improving in recent weeks. Against Washington, the team recorded its 5th victory in the last 6 games: 119-130.
The catalyst for the Lakers’ resurgence is Anthony Davis, who had 55 points and 17 rebounds against the Wizards. Davis made 22 of his 30 shots and was also clear from the free throw line with a 9 of 9.
Two days ago, Davis also led the Lakers to victory against Milwaukee by 44 points.
LeBron James was also good at shooting tonight with 29 points. James also picked up 8 rebounds and handed out 6 assists.
Thanks to the victory, the LA Lakers are gradually getting in touch with the top 10 again. The numbers 6-10 play for a spot in the playoffs after the regular season. Only the top 6 in each conference qualify directly for the playoffs.
