This is called a winning return. 21 years after the launch of its famous tele-hook, TF1 has pulled out all the stops for this unprecedented season of the star Academy. If the audiences are not as impressive as at the time, they nevertheless remain very satisfactory for the first channel.

The dailies bring together more than two million viewers between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., a real record for this time slot since the beginning of Secret Story. A source close to the production was even surprised by this unexpected success, in the columns of Tele-Leisure :

We expected housewives and young people to follow, but we couldn’t imagine such enthusiasm.

Next season in preparation

Of course, a new season has already been ordered by TF1. And viewers were delighted to learn that it will be twice as long. Indeed, for the big return of its flagship show, the channel had preferred to bet on six weeks of competition, in case the success would not have been there.

In the meantime, the adventure is about to end. This Thursday, November 24 was broadcast on MyTF1 Max the last live of this season of the star Academy. We could see Anisha, Louis, Enola and Léa, the four finalists, very moved to leave the mythical castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. And those who had got into the habit of following their daily life on the platform had the unpleasant surprise of coming across the following laconic message the next day:

The castle has closed its doors.

Anisha, Chris, Enola, Léa and Tiana @ Star Academy/TF1

Internet users upset

Many fans of the program expressed their emotion on social networks, annoyed that their new favorite show was ending. We read on Twitter:

It is too sad.
