The trial against a man (37) who is said to have severely abused a prostitute for hours starts in front of the Bochum district court on Friday (November 25). According to the indictment by the Bochum public prosecutor’s office, the accused is said to have made an appointment with the woman on June 6 of this year in his apartment in Herne.
There the 37-year-old is said to have attacked his victim and done terrible things to him. After five hours of torture and rape, the accused is said to have tried to get the victims’ money. But then the woman managed to escape.

Just the thought of it happening is almost unbearable. What the victim had to endure that day in the accused’s apartment is severely traumatizing. Herner is said to have hit his victim several times and covered her mouth and nose until she passed out.
In addition, the man is said to have asked the prostitute to lie down on broken glass – only to then step on them. After that, the 37-year-old is said to have sexually assaulted his victim. “Because he is said not to have gotten an erection, he is said to have finally penetrated the victim with his fingers,” the indictment says.
Bochum: Prostitute manages to escape
After about five hours, the brutal Herner is said to have let go of the woman and grabbed her cell phone and car. They are said to have left the house together so that she could get him money. A little later, the victim is said to have managed to escape.
The accused is said to have been extremely drunk at the time of the crime and also consumed cocaine. Now the trial against the Herner starts. He is accused, among other things, of particularly aggravated robbery, aggravated rape and dangerous bodily harm. If convicted, Herner faces years in prison.
