The head of the Russian Ministry of Finance, Anton Siluanov, allowed the taxation of Russians working abroad at a rate of 13% to remain. He said this in an interview with Naila Askerzade for the Vesti program on the Russia 1 TV channel.

“We are considering this issue and, of course, we are inclined to ensure that … the type of activity that is carried out in our country from abroad is also taxed at a rate similar to that for residents of the Russian Federation, that is, 13%”, – Then24 quotes him.

Earlier, the Ministry of Finance came up with an initiative according to which employees of Russian companies working abroad must pay taxes in Russia.

In early July, the State Duma adopted a law that clarifies the conditions for granting tax benefits in the IT sector. It excludes the possibility of applying income tax and insurance premium benefits for a highly profitable IT business.
