A 45-year-old man is suspected of having killed another 43-year-old man with a knife this Thursday at the Lousal day centre, in the municipality of Grândola (Setúbal), where both were users of the institution, said a GNR source.
The same source told the Lusa agency that the alleged homicide took place around 1:30 pm, when the alert was given by an employee of the institution, via 112, and the death was declared on the spot.

“The suspect confessed to having committed the homicide, having been detained by the Guard”, according to the same source.
The Judiciary Police was called to the scene and is investigating the case, he added.
A source from the Setúbal District Command for Relief Operations (CDOS) indicated that the alert was given to the CDOS at 13:08, with firefighters from Grândola, the emergency and resuscitation vehicle (VMER) from Hospital do Litoral Alentejano, in Santiago do Cacém, and the GNR, supported by three vehicles including the VMER.
