Moldovan citizen Nikolai Lebedev, known as Nekoglai, was deported from Russia for violating immigration rules. This is reported by Then24 with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies.

“Tonight Lebedev flew out of Moscow. The bailiffs monitored the execution of the court decision by him, ”the source said.

The Presnensky Court of Moscow previously found the blogger guilty of an administrative offense under the article on the rules for the residence of foreign citizens in Russia (part 3.1 Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation). The court fined Nekoglai in the amount of five thousand rubles and ordered him to be forcibly expelled from the country. On November 11, the Moscow City Court recognized this decision as legal.

The reason for the deportation of Nekoglay, who has 9.5 million followers on Tiktok, was a video posted in early November. In it, Nekoglai parodied a video from the war in Ukraine: it was filmed as a Russian soldier, lying in a trench, threw back two grenades dropped by a Ukrainian drone.

The head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, accused the blogger of “discrediting” the Russian army and promised to contact law enforcement agencies. Nekoglai responded by saying that Mizulina was “doing some of the wrong things.”

The blogger’s manager said that he did not want to offend or humiliate the military with his parody. Nekoglaya was detained on November 9 because he did not have a passport with him.
