In the 270th anniversary year at Schönbrunn Zoo, numerous offspring were born. In addition to arctic wolves, capybaras and zebras, king and rockhopper penguins as well as maned seals, for example, provided for cute offspring.
“Two squirrel monkeys were born in the last few weeks – they are our latest offspring,” said zoo director Stephan Hering-Hagenbeck Cubs, it was said. “But our breeding highlights of the year are certainly the young animals of orangutans, giraffes and now, once again, koalas,” said Hering-Hagenbeck to preserve endangered species,” says Hering-Hagenbeck.
