Therefore, they decided to organize a formal hearing with ticket master in order to discuss how these practices are harming the consumer, but also seek “exercise the authority of the antitrust subcommittee to ensure that anticompetitive mergers and exclusionary conduct are not harming an industry already affected by the pandemic and quarantine.”
This is the first time Ticketmaster has faced this kind of scrutiny since 2010, when it merged with the mega event planning company LiveNation.
