These classics are coming back too

Sat.1 announced back in October that it would revive legendary show classics. “In a four-week event programming” the shows are to be shown “in slightly modernized prime-time editions”, explained Sat.1 boss Daniel Rosemann (42) at the time.

“The Pyramid” was broadcast for the first time in 1979 with Dieter Thomas Heck (1937-2018) as moderator, and it was finally over in 1994. The new edition is to be shot in Cologne from December 2nd. Jörg Pilawa (57) appears as moderator. The guessing teams each consist of a candidate and a celebrity. Your task is to “describe and guess terms, dictums or proverbs in the shortest possible time,” according to the production company’s website.

At “Dating Games – Who should be your sweetheart?” it is obviously a new edition of the original German dating show “Herzblatt”, which was shown on the first between 1987 and 2005.
