He may be a Hollywood star, but at home he’s just “dad” and has normal dad concerns. Speaking to People magazine, Kevin Costner gave a rare glimpse into his home life. The 67-year-old has sons Cayden, 15, and Hayes, 13, and daughter Grace, 12, with his second wife Christine. The fact that he has two Oscars in his closet doesn’t give him star status at home: “I’m a father there, I’m a husband there. The world doesn’t revolve around me!”
Costner finds it amusing when people accuse him of a glamorous life: “You have no idea how my life at home is like. When I’m not shooting, I live on the highway.” He and his wife constantly have to chauffeur their children to various school or hobby events: “We’re always driving them to stuff or twiddling our thumbs waiting for them in the car while they are at a birthday party.”Hayes is already following in dad’s footstepsThe “Yellowstone” star loves spending time with his kids and playing with them: “I’ve always tried to teach them to be independent. The sad thing is that now they will too. I’m like any parent, I’m trying to deal with it!” His son Hayes inherited his acting talent from his father, which is why he got him a role in his new western series Horizon “I honestly did too, so i can spend more time with him. I’m also trying to convince Caden and Grace to spend time on set with me,” Costner revealed. Costner already has grown children. His daughters Annie (38), Lily (36) and son Joe (34) are from his first marriage to Cindy Costner. Son Liam (26) comes from his relationship with actress Bridget Rooney. He has been married to his current wife Christine (48) since 2004.
