This League of Legends World Championship has been one of the best we’ve had in the entire history of the MOBA and therefore, the transfer market is similar. Despite the fact that the European is being the most active, today we have a transfer bomb in Korea. DWG KIA has confirmed the signing of Deft, who won Worlds 2022 champion with DRX.

Deft will play for DWG KIA in the 2023 season of League of Legends

It was through Twitter that DWG KIA made the signing of Deft official for the 2023 season, in addition to updating its technical staff:

With this confirmation, we now have the full official DWG KIA lineup for the 2023 League of Legends competitive season:

  • canna
  • canyon
  • Showmaker
  • Deft
  • kellin

As expected, this signing brought several comments from DWG KIA fans. Some believe that Deft will strengthen the lineup and perhaps make it one of the best in the LCK, while others believe that the shooter did not shine as much in the DRX world championship and that he was not a fundamental pillar of the team to become champions.

The truth is that it is already a reality and the shooter will be part of DRX for the entire 2023 season. We will see how he performs in his new team.

Let’s remember that DWG KIA did not have a spectacular 2022 season and that is why they have prepared all these changes. After reaching Worlds 2022, their performance was not relevant and they ended up being eliminated by Gen.G Esports in the quarterfinals.
