With a 7-0 spectacle against Costa Rica on Wednesday, Spain made a furious start to the World Cup. For coach Luis Enrique, however, that was far from enough. Here are the reviews for the game:

Luis Enrique (Spain coach): “Our goal is to constantly dominate the game and to do that we need to have the ball so that our opponents struggle and find little space. We were exceptionally good at pressing and the 16 players involved were outstanding. But we still have room for improvement.” Ferran Torres (Spain double goalscorer): “I don’t know if we’re favorites for the World Cup, but we certainly have a good chance. We have a great desire to create something big. We always try to improve our game and today we showed that.” Luis Suarez (Costa Rica coach): “They played fantastic, we didn’t. I have to work with this result and be very careful about what I say to my players to lift their spirits again. I’m really worried that my team won’t be able to process this terrible result.”
