One of the leading names in modeling of the 21st century, Bella admitted at one point that she loved alcohol, but it was mainly the fears that she experienced after drunken parties that led her to give up spirits. “I know how it affects me – I’ll wake up again at 3am thinking about that one stupid thing I said in high school,” she said. “Those few drinks aren’t worth it.”

At first, the actress kept her sober life a secret. She told the story of her decision only after two years, because – as she emphasized – only now she feels “confident” and knows that it was the best possible choice for her.
Minaj’s worldview was greatly influenced by the singer’s pregnancy in 2020. “I used to be happy when I was drunk. Now I’m happy when I’m sober,” she confessed on Twitter, noting that thanks to the appearance of the child, she “sees more good in people.”
The model gave up drinking alcohol at the age of 35, which she told about only after a year of sobriety. “Not a drop of alcohol in the last 365 days! Sometimes I miss that feeling of being lazy and carefree, but honestly, by the end it wasn’t much anyway,” she said. She also described the vicious circle that alcohol caused in her. “I drank to deal with anxiety, which then came because I drank,” she concluded.
In an interview with GQ, the singer confessed that at one point she drank a bottle of vodka a day. She has now been sober for two years. “I am grateful for my health and happiness,” she wrote on Instagram, celebrating the anniversary of her decision.

In an interview with Vogue UK, the supermodel admitted that she had struggled to control her drinking in the past. She remembers the period between 1998 and 2005 as the worst. “I avoided looking in the mirror because I didn’t like the person I saw in it,” she said. The star also has rehab due to cocaine addiction and used the support of Alcoholics Anonymous.
The pop star tries to limit any drugs and does not hide the fact that many people in her family struggled with alcoholism. In 2020, she managed to stay completely sober for 6 months. “I don’t miss hangovers,” she said at the time.
The star of “Sex and the City” decided to give up alcohol when it began to negatively affect her work. “I got into a demanding acting program, it was really intense, and I was not doing well in class because of a hangover. I thought I had to choose one or the other. I can’t have both,” she concluded.
