“Monarch”

Not all that it seems is

It is already on the 29th that the Romans, the first family of country music in America, arrive at your house. Passionate and talented, the nickname that sustains them is synonymous with honesty, but the very basis of the family’s success is a lie. When certain truths come to light, the reign of the family is put in jeopardy. Right at the beginning, we witness the removal of the matriarch and queen of country music, Dottie Roman (Susan Sarandon), while rumors circulate that she is sick. Together with her husband, Albie (Trace Adkins), also an avid country musician, they prepare their eldest daughter, Nicolette “Nicky” Roman, to take her mother’s place. Things, however, get complicated when the industry seems to have no interest in highlighting Nicky.
