With these final words, the “TV total” fans have to swallow. Presenter Sebastian Pufpaff has to deliver sad news to his viewers: he will not be in front of the camera next week.
The rumor mill soon simmers. What’s next for “TV total” and why can’t Pufpaff perform next time? We clarify.
“TV total” has to take a two-week break
ProSieben has been broadcasting the new edition of Stefan Raab’s cult format “TV total” since November 10, 2021. Sebastian Pufpaff now moderates the comedy show every Wednesday during prime time.
In the past week, however, the 46-year-old had to sit out. Because he broke four ribs in a bicycle accident, comedian Michael “Bully” Herbig stepped in for him on November 9th. Now Pufpaff seems to be doing well again and so he will be leading the show as usual on November 16th.
But at the end of the issue, the shock for the fans follows: Sebastian Pufpaff announces that “TV total” will only go on the air again in three weeks. On Twitter, bewilderment spreads. “How was that just now? Only again in three weeks?” and “No ‘TV total’ for three weeks? What should we watch then?” the viewers say disappointed.
Because of World Cup games: “TV total” fans are pissed off
For others, on the other hand, anger prevails, they call it “impudence” and “impudence” that ProSieben is taking the comedy show out of the program for two weeks. “Has ProSieben fired Puffi?” A man fears in panic.
But that is not the case. The real reason for the “TV total” break has nothing to do with the show. The episodes are said to be canceled because World Cup games will be broadcast at the same time on November 23 and 30. Although not at ProSieben, Sebastian Pufpaff still has to sit out.
More news:
“But this World Cup really only causes problems,” says an annoyed viewer. Another agrees with him: “This World Cup really destroys everything.” And the heart of reality TV fans bleeds at this announcement. Because: “Then there is no ‘TV total’ for ‘Celebrity Big Brother'”, a disappointed Twitter user notes.
The tenth season of “Celebrity Big Brother” starts on November 18th on Sat.1 and will be broadcast daily from now on.
