The founder of the Guild of Realtors of Russia, Konstantin Aprelev, advised to exercise caution when buying a home.

“It makes sense to buy housing in new buildings if the commissioning date for the house is planned in the project declaration of the object for the next year, and not later,” he said in an interview with “Radio 1”.

In his opinion, recently the secondary housing segment has behaved ideally compared to the primary housing segment.

“There, people who needed to sell realized that demand was falling, and began to reduce prices. In this regard, we then saw the beginning of a decrease in prices in the secondary market in a number of regions of Russia, ”Aprelev specified.

As the expert added, developers tried to keep the primary market, and prices did not decrease.

“So the reasonable buyer did what? That’s right, I bought where it was cheaper, and where you can immediately use housing, ”concluded Aprelev.

Earlier, Irina Kanovas, Director of the Urban Real Estate Department of the Academy of Sciences “On Petrovka”, in an interview with FAN gave a price forecast for 2023.
