Frightening act in the night from Friday (November 18) to Saturday in Dortmund. A young woman (18) was raped there between 11 p.m. and midnight. The perpetrator is on the run.
The Dortmund police have now published a description of the man. Investigators are looking for witnesses who can provide crucial clues to the capture of the rapist.
Dortmund: Man falls over 18-year-olds
According to the police, the stranger ambushed his victim at night on the street “Am Spörkel” in Dortmund-Menglinghausen. The 18-year-old said that the stranger suddenly approached her from behind and then threatened her with a pointed object.
With the gun pointed at her, he forced her to go into the adjacent forest. There the man attacked his victim and raped her. However, the 18-year-old defended herself tooth and nail. Eventually, the perpetrator let go of her and ran away.
Dortmund police are looking for rapists
The Dortmund police have not yet been able to identify the man. The victim described him as follows:
- at least 1.70 meters tall
- curly black hair
- spoke broken German
The 18-year-old could not provide any further information, such as the clothing of the perpetrator.
