First he wasn’t allowed to tweet, now he doesn’t want to anymore. Donald Trump prefers to stay on his own platform. The new Twitter boss Elon Musk doesn’t like it at all, and he reacts – as usual – insulted.
Musk probably imagined it very differently: The new owner of the short message service had activated Trump’s profile again after almost 51.8 percent voted in favor of it in a survey. But the ex-president gives a damn. Instead, he remains on his own online platform Truth Social: “Twitter is having massive problems right now. I see no reason to return. Truth Social is going through the roof.” “And don’t lead us into temptation,” Musk’s response was immediate. He taunted Trump on Twitter with an obscene image of Jesus praying next to a woman posing provocatively. Jesus is entitled “Donald Trump”, the woman’s private parts are covered by the Twitter logo. Musk writes: “And lead us not into temptation”. The new Twitter boss was previously considered a supporter of the former US President.Trump contractually bound to Truth SocialThere are reasons why Trump whistles on Twitter: The former US President is contractually bound to Truth Social. His posts should appear exclusively on the platform for at least six hours. Election campaigns and appeals for donations are excluded from this. But the whole thing has one downside: Trump has just a little less than five million followers on Truth Social. On Twitter, however, the number has grown to 83 million. With his published image, Musk rightly asks how long Trump can resist temptation.
