The Swedish TV profile Ulrika Jonsson, 55, lives in England and continues to work as a presenter. Over the years, she has led several entertainment programs and reality soaps, and now she is current as a participant in the dating show “Celebs go dating”.
In addition, she is a columnist for the British tabloid The Sun, and recently wrote a long text about how she feels about aging – something she does not find funny.
Ulrika writes that women have been programmed to find fault with themselves.
“We’re never thin enough, fat enough, or tall enough. We don’t have the right size breasts, or cheekbones, or thick, shiny eyebrows.”
Ulrika Jonsson has been married three times
Ulrika turned 55 on August 16, and lives today as single. She has been married three times, and the marriage with the last husband – the American Brian Monet – came to an end in 2019. In the early 2000s, Ulrika received a lot of attention for her relationship with Sven-Göran Eriksson.
Ulrika Jonsson: “I avoid mirrors”
In the text in The Sun, Ulrika opens up and talks honestly about how she feels about getting older.
“I admit that I avoid mirrors every day,” writes Ulrika.
She further writes that as a 20-year-old she thought she would age with dignity, and that then a little blush was enough to feel top notch. But as a woman in her 50s, it suddenly takes an hour to put on make-up.
“All I see is how my face collapses and disappears. Except for the hair on my chin. I have a lot of judgement,” writes Ulrika further.
