On November 22, a documentary film by journalist Rodion Chepel “Pelevin” dedicated to the writer Viktor Pelevin will be released in the Kion online cinema. The premiere will take place on his 60th birthday. In the film, Chepel tried to study the mythology that had formed around Pelevin – he talked with his childhood friends, classmates, and former colleagues. The Amur Waves studio worked on the film (Durov, Sakharov. Two Lives, This is Edik), animation inserts for Pelevin were made by the Zhi-Shi studio. Meduza publishes a fragment of the film, in which Alena Doletskaya, the first editor-in-chief of VOGUE Russia, tells how she persuaded Pelevin for an interview in a Japanese restaurant.
