Iran head coach Carlos Queiroz commented on his team’s loss to England in the first round match of Group B of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

“My opinion is simple and very pragmatic. The game ended in the first half with the score 0:3. The only goal then was to enjoy the game and be part of the moment when we had to keep the courage and try to play our football, ”Queyros quotes air force.

According to him, Iran will draw conclusions after the match with England in order to better prepare for the game with Wales.

The meeting of the first round of group B at the Khalifa Stadium in Doha ended with a score of 6: 2 in favor of the team of Gareth Southgate.

Iran’s next match in the group stage will be against Wales on November 25. The match starts at 13:00 Moscow time.
