The President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, began the official visit to Mexico, and will arrive in the country this coming Tuesday, November 22. The visit is part of a series of events that the President will hold, where he will meet with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and a group of local businessmen.
For these meetings, President Boric does not arrive alone, since he will be accompanied by the president of the Factory Development Society (SOFOFA), Richard Von Appen; the president of ChileSertur, Evelyn Henríquez; the general manager of the Association of Manufactured Exporters (Asexma), Marco Illesca Campos; CEO of Sky Airlines, Juan Ignacio Dougnac; general manager of Andariego, Arturo Pérez and Helen Kouyoumdjian, executive vice president of Fedetour.
On November 23 and after the meeting with businessmen, the President will deliver a wreath to the Monument of the Homeland, and will be received by the President of Mexico at the National Palace.
The next day, the Head of State will continue his trip and will visit the Gabriel Mistral Primary School in Coyoacán, part of the Escuelas Chile program. This to later move to the National Senate of the Republic of the United Mexican States, where he will attend a solemn session.
On Thursday, President Boric is expected to hold a meeting at the National Embassy with the Chilean parliamentarians who will participate -for now- in the XVII Summit of the Pacific Alliance, which is on hold after Peru did not give permission to Pedro Castillo to attend the instance.
