AMLO Asks the Mexican National Team to Win the World Cup in Qatar

The president of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (AMLO)asked the Mexican team of soccer that brings the cup of Qatar World Cup 2022.

“I wish the best to the footballers, that they do very well, that they bring the cup,” he said in his morning conference.

“I am with them, that it is a pride to represent our country abroad, in any competition,” López Obrador told them.

In addition, the Mexican president took the opportunity to congratulate Club Pachuca, which this weekend won the final of the Apertura al Toluca tournament.

“Congratulations to Pachuca. All our affection and also send a hug to all the Toluca fans. It is a team with a lot of tradition”, he added.

López Obrador also celebrated the entrance to the podium of the Mexican pilot Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez during the Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix 2022which was held this Sunday in the Mexican capital.

The Mexican driver took third place, behind his teammate from the RedBull team, Max Verstappen, who took first place, and Lewis Hamilton, from the Mercedes Benz team.

“I also take this opportunity to congratulate Checo Pérez, who won third place and I also wish him to continue,” he said.
