President Yoon Suk-yeol announced this Sunday the start of national mourning. The South Korean Executive “designates the period from this Sunday and until the accident is under control as national mourning.

In a address to the nation Broadcast from the presidential office, Yoon has indicated this fact as “top priority” and has asked citizens and emergency services to help in the tasks related to this event.
