The president of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, spoke this Saturday about the second round of the presidential elections in Brazil that starts this Sunday and urged to stop “fascism.”

“Let Brazil make the light of Latin America shine. There are those who say that fascism does not exist. It is in each one of us. It stops inside and outside. If we want more days for humanity, fascism must be stopped,” the president tweeted. .

Petro did not directly mention the left-wing candidate Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, nor his right-wing rival and current president Jair Bolsonaro, but attached a photo of a march that the Workers’ Party candidate carried out this Saturday along with his followers on the avenue Paulista in Sao Paulo.
