The fantasy series has been given the green light for a fourth season by Netflix, but those who have followed Geralt of Rivia on his adventurous journey among terrifying monsters and other terrifying beings may find themselves in the monster hunter himself changing shape.
However, the change of actors seems to have taken place under friendly conditions.
“Liam, dear lord, this character has such wonderful depth to him, enjoy diving into it and see what you can find,” Henry Cavill writes to his successor on Instagram.
Henry Cavill has been in “The Witcher” since the series began airing in 2019. He is most recently in “Enola Holmes 2” on Netflix, will star in Guy Ritchie’s “The ministry of ungentlemanly warfare” and is also in the works for the next “Superman “-Film.
Liam Hemsworth is perhaps best known for his role as Gale Hawthorne in the “Hunger games” series.
