You are currently viewing Star Academy: the preferred director of Star Academy? Find out Michael Goldman’s salary

After ten years of absence, the star Academy has just returned to TF1. On October 15, thirteen new candidates were presented to the public during a show which brought together no less than 4 million viewers in front of their small screen. It must be said that the program marked the 2000s and launched the careers of Jenifer, Jean-Pascal Lacoste, Nolwenn Leroy, Olivia Ruiz, Sofiane Tajine, or even the late Grégory Lemarchal. If some of them finally decided to give up the song, their passage in the show nevertheless allowed them to make a professional reconversion in the media.

It is therefore determined and more confident than ever that the candidates selected to participate in this new promotion of Star Ac’ signed up for the casting. And the spirit of competition begins to surface. Especially since Michael Goldman replaced Alexia Laroche-Joubert, who refused to resume her role as director of the castle. Because the new director is rather the severe type.

Michael Goldman @ Starface

TF1 puts its hand in its pocket

Indeed, Michael Goldman is not just anyone. In addition to being the son of the legendary Jean-Jacques Goldman, he is the founder of the platform MyMajorCompany, which allowed Grégoire or Joyce Jonathan to make themselves known. It is therefore quite natural that the production accepted the amount of fees demanded by Michael Goldman. And the latter managed to negotiate a comfortable salary.

While Yanis Marshall boasted a few weeks ago of accumulating two salaries, one as a dance teacher and the other as a choreographer of the program, this one would however be far from being paid like Michael Goldman. According to information from Audience, the 43-year-old would be paid 5000 euros per week. What amounts to 30,000 euros for six weeks of filming. While his colleagues were much worse off.

A difference in treatment?

Still according to the weekly, Yanis Marshall would be right behind Michael Goldman, with a fee of 1800 euros. Adeline Toniutti, the singing teacher, and Laure Balon, that of scenic expression, would have received “only” 6000 euros. Marlène Schaff, one of the coaches was rewarded with 4800 euros while the theater teacher, Pierre de Brauer, is doing the least well. He would have received 3600 euros to participate in the show.
