Led and abused, PSG had to work to control a beautiful Trojan team, carried by a double from Mama Baldé. After the rest, Messi and Neymar got angry to go for another success.

PSG 4-3 Troyes

Goals: Soler (24e), Messi (55e), Neymar (62e) and Mbappe (77e) for PSG // Baldé (3e and 52e) and Palaversa (88e) for ESTAC

The roller coaster for Paris Saint-Germain. Four days after the recital offered against Maccabbi Haifa and in a much calmer Parc des Princes, Christophe Galtier’s men have long left Troyes hope. Scorer in the first minutes of each half, Mama Baldé shone for ESTAC, before Messi and Neymar took matters into their own hands to allow their team to respect the adage by scoring a goal more than their opponent . Because if Carlos Soler signed his second goal of the week and Kylian Mbappé came late to the party from the penalty spot, it is the South American duo that allows PSG to regain a five-point lead over Lens.

Barely time to get into their match and afford a first streak of possession that the Parisians are already giving up. On a first counter thrown on the left, Rony Lopes battles in the box and finally puts it back for Mama Baldé, who pierces Donnarumma with a volley (0-1, 3e). Stunned, Paris tries to react, but Soler is countered in the area (6e) and suffers enormously against the speed and audacity of the Aubois. Served at the far post, Lopes sees Mukiele, solid, come back to counter him (10e). Masters of the ball, the Rouge et Bleu purr against the visitor block, perfectly organized and ready to spring, in a Parc des Princes totally anesthetized in the absence of the ultras. Sergio Ramos tries hard to wake up his people from afar (19e), soon imitated by Neymar (22e). And then, on a new ball sent by the Brazilian in the area, Soler eliminates Gallon and ends in the empty goal (1-1, 24e). What finally launch the champions of France? Not really since you have to wait for the end of this first act to see Neymar, on a free kick (40e), then Messi with a header to prove dangerous again (41e).

Messi and Neymar boosted

As soon as it resumes, Paris picks up where it left off: near the surface of ESTAC. But on a new counter led on the left side, Mama Baldé is found in the area and freezes the Park with a nice pivot shot (1-2, 52e). Not really decided to gamble, Messi then decides to get out of his box. Not attacked at 25 meters full axis, the Argentinian fires a real missile to equalize (2-2, 55e)before sending Neymar to give PSG the first advantage of the afternoon with a laser pass (3-2, 62e). The Parisian attackers finally let go, and the number 10 of the Selection offers a phenomenal rush before shifting Mbappé with a roulette wheel, but his friend stumbles on Gallon (66e). Mass is said for the visitors, who lose all hope when Soler comes to scratch a penalty in front of Gallon, giving the Bondynois the opportunity to put his name on the scoreboard (4-2, 77e). Verratti tries his luck from a distance (80e), before Troyes once again displayed his opponent’s defensive largesse via Palaversa (4-3, 88e). In vain.
PSG (4-3-1-2): Donnarumma – Mukiele, Ramos, Kimpembe (Marquinhos, 59e), Bernat (N. Mendes, 85e) – Verratti (Sarabia, 85e), Vitinha (F. Ruiz, 59e), Soler (R. Sanches, 77e) – Neymar – Messi, Mbappe. Coach : Christophe Galtier.
