Things are going from bad to worse for Liverpool in the Premier League. Last weekend it lost to the red lantern Nottingham Forrest and this weekend the end result was the same against the penultimate: Leeds. The three points now help Leeds out of the relegation zone.
When things go wrong, everything often goes wrong. Joe Gomez proved that after just four minutes at Liverpool. He played terribly backwards to his goalkeeper. Or rather: out of reach of his goalkeeper. Rodrigo took advantage easily (see video).
Mo Salah quickly offered a helping hand and equalized before the opening quarter (see video). Liverpool had some chances after that, but they were unable to take the lead.
The proverbial cold shower followed just before the end of regular time. Summerville pushed the ball past Alisson in the 89th minute (see video).
