The Ombudsman will continue to mediate the dialogue between the directors of the Social Security Fund (CSS) and the National Association of CSS Officials and Administrative Staff (ANFACSS).

The Ombudsman Eduardo Leblanc Gonzáles appealed to promptly put collective interests before the right to health of workers and patients in the facilities of the medical care center.

In addition, it was proposed that the next meeting be on November 9, which must be approved by the parties in mediation, to analyze the list of demands presented by the ANFACSS, among which the revision of the salary scale and the dismissals arising in middle of the strike. However, the CSS calls for an end to the strike.

Participating in the dialogue table: the Ombudsman Eduardo Leblanc González as mediator, the secretary of the Social Security Fund Edwin Salamín, his team of advisors and legal representatives; while the CSS workers and officials were Priscila Vázquez, Luis Lee and Rodrigo Soto.
