Alberto Nez Feijo has sent a clear message to the President of the Government. “If he hands over the state to those who rose up not long ago, he will have us in front of him.” With these words, the president of the PP has explained in an act in Lugo his decision to suspend the negotiation with the Government for the renewal of the General Council of the Judicial Power (CGPJ).

According to the leader of the populardecided to take the step when “he was aware that the Government wanted to weaken the institutions” agreeing “with one hand the strengthening of the CGPJ and with another a reform of the Penal Code to the measure of the independentistas.” “We did it,” he said, “when it was confirmed that someone was lying to us,” referring to the guarantees that the PP gave them, according to the PP, by the Minister of the Presidency, Flix Bolaos, insisting that the reform of the crime of sedition was not on the table.

“You can’t lie to everyone all the time,” he said. “You cannot agree on a à la carte Penal Code with those who want to violate it. The ground is being prepared for those who say they will do it again,” Feijo insisted.

The president of the PP has gone even further: “It is not possible that those of us who intend to reinforce judicial independence agree at the same time with those who agree to violate the Penal Code or pardon politicians who attempt against the State.”

In his opinion, it is already evident that Sánchez “prefers to agree and govern with independence and radicalism than with constitutionalism.” The leader of the PP has no doubt that the Prime Minister lives under the “pressure” of his partners and gives in to her because he needs them to continue in La Moncloa.

the leader popular has accused the President of the Government of “merchandising” to carry out some Budgets that, in his opinion, are a “mortgage” for the Spanish, and doing so with the crime of sedition to obtain the votes of CKD; with the approach of ETA prisoners to the Basque Country, to obtain the support of Bildu and recognizing the regional sports teams to win the support of the PNV.

“Pedro Sánchez”, he has sentenced, “has no brake on being able to stay in La Moncloa for the next few months”.
