Axel Kicillof highlighted the 2023 Budget that he sent to the Legislature

In terms of education, he stressed that 112 new educational buildings have already been built, more than 4,000 works have been completed, while another 1,600 are underway. “In addition, we guarantee connectivity where the market decides not to invest. This budget is going to deepen the changes for a quality public education”, he affirmed.

On another level, Kicillof focused on the fact that through the Security Strengthening Program for the Province of Buenos Aires “we are professionalizing the security forces,” while stressing that there will be “a historic investment in infrastructure and equipment for the Provincial Police and the Buenos Aires Penitentiary System.”

Likewise, the governor highlighted that the 2023 budget is the second budget “that understands that gender inequality is structural and must be addressed urgently”, for which he noted that “the public policies that we promote as a State cannot be planned outside from this perspective.”

With the same line, he referred to the last axis of the law of laws, highlighted with the environmental issue: “In 2021 we created the Ministry of Environment to respond to the socio-environmental needs and problems that affect the people of Buenos Aires. We project for this budget an investment that quintuples the values ​​of 2019”.

On the other hand, he focused on the Tax Law project, of which he highlighted that “it continues with the objective of projecting resources to generate and sustain productive public policies with social inclusion”, and assured that “Like previous years, we want to make the tax structure more progressive”.

“This budget allows us to deepen the transformations that we have been carrying out since we began our administration. A path of reconstruction of the province that changes the lives of the people of Buenos Aires,” Kicillof concluded.
