The remonstrance of a college director would have turned into humiliation in a college in the south of France. The case is controversial.

The case is gaining more and more momentum in Menton. The alleged humiliation of a student of the private catholic teaching institute of Villa Blanche is on everyone’s lips in this municipality of the Côte d’Azur, located outside the principality of Monaco. So much so that this controversy may have reached the ears of Prince Albert of Monaco and Princess Charlene. According to several local media including nice morning, a young girl in 5th grade would have been openly humiliated by the director of this establishment. The latter would have forced to leave her class… on all fours!

A yawn would have led to this humiliation

The reason ? “It was during a meeting, the director was talking to the students that day, and there was a row. Mr. Rebaudo had already taken two students out into the hallway because they were agitated, and there, a girl at the back of the class started to yawn conspicuously. The principal told her that it was not done, and the girl got up, came under her nose, and yawned again.. Mr. Rebaudo then freaked out, asked her to get on her knees and leave the room. She obviously didn’t leave the room on her knees, she ended up getting up…”testifies a parent of a student to nice morning without revealing his identity.

As often in this kind of incident, the two facts clash. According to information from the local daily, several witnesses to the scene claim that the young girl would not have left the college on all fours, but she would actually get up quickly. Following the summons of the student’s parents, the director finally apologized before being put on sick leave. For his part, the student would not come to class for several weeks.
