Like every Friday, we want to brighten up your weekend by bringing you new films from Netflix, MovistarPlus+ and Disney+, to entertain you this Halloween 2022.
The dilemma we find each Weekend is the same as always: what can we see in NetflixHas HBO Max released something new? Shall we try to see the Prime Video poster? and we spend the dead hours without knowing how to decide what films or series see.
That is why we come with 3 recommendations, this time from Netflix, MovistarPlus + and Disney +, which premiere this weekend, to make your choice of cinema somewhat easier.
On the one hand, we bring you the mythical horror movie that takes place in an Airbnb where everything goes wrong. On the other, we leave you with an incredible thriller with Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne as protagonists and a film with synthetic bodies that take human evolution to another level.
Barbarian (2022), Disney+
We leave with some terror, how could it be otherwise, since we are in Halloween. In this film, a young woman will arrive at her Airbnb rental late at night only to discover that the house has been mistakenly booked twice and that a strange man is already staying there.
As is always the case in these types of movies, the decisions are always wrong and he decides to spend the night anyway, but he soon discovers that there is much more to fear in the house than the other guest.
It premiered on October 26 on the Disney + platform.
The Angel of Death (2022), Netflix
Amy (Jessica Chastain), a single mother, is an ICU nurse struggling to keep her life on track while dealing with health issues of her own. A new nurse will arrive on her shift, Charles Cullen (Eddie Redmayne), and Both will begin a strong friendship, since Amy confides her health secret to him and he becomes a main support in her life.
All this in a context of continuous deaths in the ICU that will soon be investigated and all suspicions will be directed at Charles.
Based on a true story, Redmayne gives a chilling performance as Cullen, a serial killer whose total number of victims remains unknown.
It premiered on October 26 on the Netflix platform.
Crimes of the future (2022), MovistarPlus +
We are on Halloween dates so more scary movies could not be missing. We bring you this novelty from MovistarPlus+, which tells us the story of a not too distant future in which humanity learns to adapt to its synthetic environment.
And it is that, we say synthetic because this evolution takes humans beyond their natural state and into a metamorphosis that alters their biological makeup. While some will be delighted with the potential it gives them, others will watch that the matter does not get out of hand.
It premieres on October 29 on the MovistarPlus+ platform.
