The PSOE plans to present an amendment to the Trans Law that toughens the conditions by which a person who has changed sex can do it again later. It is proposed that a judge intervene in this “reversibility” process and that the applicant has to provide evidence to justify the request.

With this measure, the socialists try to placate one of the criticisms made by feminist groups opposed to the Trans Law, which warn of hypothetical frauds to take advantage of the conditions of women in certain circumstances.

Right now, the bill allows a person who has changed their registration change of sex to go back and return to their original situation after six months. The circumstances to reverse the change are just as simple as to request it: just request it at the Civil registration with a single statement. Only after the third sex change does the law allow a judge to intervene to analyze the situation.

Well, the PSOE is going to present an amendment, to which it has had access THE WORLD, in which he proposes that this should happen from the second sex change. This means that people who want to return to their original situation will have to go through a judge and present “the means of evidence that he wishes to use.”

The judge will summon the applicant and, depending on the case, his parents or legal representatives, as well as the prosecutor. In addition, it could require from that person “any other evidence it deems appropriate.”
