And right at the very hour of leaving work and when everyone is looking to return home. On the afternoon of this October 28, a truck that was loaded with earth overturned on the central lanes of Periférico, shortly before reaching Perisur and heading for Calzada de Tlalpan.

You can imagine the traffic that caused.

The chaos in Periférico

Photos and videos of the overturned truck were published on social networks, which also irrigated all the land it was transporting on the important road.

The firefighters of Mexico City published on their social networks that they were working on the overturning of a tractor-trailer in the Parque del Pedregal neighborhood, in the Tlalpan mayor’s office.

And besides, there are pictures of the tremendous traffic.

Fortunately, so far there are no reports of people who have been injured except for the driver, whose health status is still unknown.

There is also no information on the reasons why the truck overturned. But to start What was a cargo truck doing circulating in the central lanes of the Periférico?

In accordance with the Traffic Regulations of Mexico City, Transport vehicles are prohibited from circulating in the central lanes and second levels of the controlled access roads, such as the Internal Circuit and the Peripheral Ring.

In the case of these controlled access roads, freight vehicles can only circulate on the side roads.
