The kings of Spain, the princess Leonor and the infant Sofia arrived in Oviedo this Thursday, the 27th, to kick off the celebrations of the Princess of Asturias Awards – awards that are given out this Friday afternoon -, which this year will resume the usual format, without masks, or any of the restrictions that were implemented in the last two editions due to the pandemic.

For the first time in three months it was possible to see the Crown Princess in public, as she is currently studying in Wales, which is why she was not with her parents and sister at the Hispanity Day celebrations on 12 October.

Upon arrival in the Principality, where on this first night they attended the XXX Princess of Asturias Awards Concert, Philip VI, letizia and the two daughters were received to the sound of bagpipes and loud applause, having always been smiling.

See, in the video, the arrival of the royal family to the concert, which took place in the Príncipe Felipe Auditorium, in the capital of Asturias.
