The 2022-2023 school year published by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP) consists of 190 days of classes. This coming December, the half of the cycle will have been completed.
Next Friday, December 16, will be the last day of classes that students will have in 2022. After that, the winter holidays will begin, which will officially run from December 19 to 30.

The official calendar of the SEP indicates that the return to classes will be until Monday, January 9. This is because during the first week of 2023, from January 2 to 6, teachers will be in training.
It should be noted that during the month of November there will be no classes on four dates:
- On Wednesday, November 2, activities for the Day of the Dead will be officially suspended
- There will be no classes on Friday, November 18, as it is an administrative discharge day.
