On the sidelines of the 26th General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) in Seoul (Korea), the President of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of Mali (CNOSM) Habib Sissoko and his counterpart from the Russian NOC, Stanislav Posdnyakov signed , on October 20, a sports cooperation.
The National Olympic and Sports Committee of Mali (CNOSM) led by Habib Sissoko and the Russian National Olympic Committee are now forging a sports partnership. Through this sports cooperation, the Malian Federation of Taekwondo and the Russian Federation of Taekwondo are also linked by a partnership.
With regard to cooperation with the CNOSM, the document was signed between Habib Sissoko and his counterpart from the Russian NOC Stanislav Posdnyakov, on October 20, during the 26th General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees, in Seoul, in Korea. The two parties have agreed to formalize the joint actions to be implemented in order to support the development of the skills of the technical staff and the athletes. This partnership protocol concerns training courses, the strengthening of training methods including dietetics, the reception of trainers to prepare coaches. Without forgetting support in equipment and didactic materials, exchanges on the good practices of sports administration and training courses for bringing together national teams in order to prepare for various international competitions.
During this major meeting, Habib Sissoko had very fruitful talks with the President of the Russian NOC. And he was recognized for his tireless efforts in promoting the Olympic and sports movement. It is with great pride that he received this distinction of recognition. “I dedicate this distinction to the Minister of Youth and Sports and to the entire sports and Olympic movement in Mali. Without forgetting the members of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of Mali”, said Habib Sissoko.
With the Malian Taekwondo Federation, the memorandum of understanding was signed by Dr Alioune Badara Traoré (President of the federation) and his Russian counterpart, Anatoly Konstantinovich Terekhov, on the sidelines of the Paralympic Games, which have just taken place from 2 to 9 October in Sochi, Russia.
