A handwritten note from Queen Elizabeth II to her grandson, Prince William, is moving netizens. The sharing was made about two months after the death of the previous monarch of the United Kingdom by a fan account of the British royal family.

“William, I hope you have fun opening this every day, Grandma”can be read in the note accompanying a advent calendar offered by the Queen to her grandson at Christmas time.

The letter is undated, but it is believed that dates back to the period before the death of Princess DianaWilliam’s mother, in 1997. This is because, according to the Independent, the note would be among Diana’s belongings and would have been acquired by a former employee.

Later, in December 2016, the letter will have been auctioned.

Netizens were moved by Queen Elizabeth II’s message to her grandson William and many asked that the note be returned to the prince on the occasion of the grandmother’s death. remember that Elizabeth II died on 8 September, after 70 years as the monarch of the United Kingdom.
