In the NBA, the Dallas Mavericks have beaten the Brooklyn Nets to their 4th loss in 5 games. The Mavs won in Brooklyn thanks to a great Luka Doncic, good for a solid triple-double.

The Brooklyn Nets have not been able to dispel the many doubts surrounding the team at the start of the season. Against Dallas, star players Kyrie Irving (39 points) and Kevin Durant (37) were on the appointment, but that was not enough for the victory. Dallas took the lead after one extra period: 125-129.

Luka Doncic was the big man among the visitors with 41 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds. The Slovenian also scored 2 times in extra time, in which he was mainly decisive with 3 assists, each yielding a three-pointer: the bombs of Tim Hardaway, Maxi Kleber and Reggie Bullock smashed Brooklyn against the canvas.

It was Brooklyn’s 4th loss in 5 games with the Nets camping in the basement of the Eastern Conference. Dallas now has 2 wins and as many defeats. The Mavericks may now start their next 5 games for their own nation.

All results from Thursday night:

  • Brooklyn – Dallas 125-129 (nv)
  • Oklahoma City – LA Clippers 118-110
  • Golden State – Miami 123-110
  • Sacramento – Memphis 110-125
