American pie

I have not returned to Vietnam/ after more than four years. (Painting: Vuong Ngoc Minh)

I haven’t come back to Vietnam yet
after more than four years
I know there are many people coming to Vietnam
come back to america
Many people show their favor
so keen

where lie my home

I go to the cinema to watch movies
whiskey poured in a can of “coke”
drink with sausage – and
stepped out onto the sidewalk and declared “name
version / quite big..

the world knows each other
I’m really an old father of the nation

on independence day
hold letters in hand
I pray intensely/my whole family
few people pray – just rebellious
very peaceful

when i go to yahoo
type this post/send
the old father of the nation was arrested and led to the hero temple (!)
Put a white scarf around your eyes
and the father has been missing ever since
I always fast on New Year’s Day
lunar calendar

except for once
do – need a border for poetry
I fast / sit and watch the drunkenness
