The Deputy Mayin Correa affirmed that “It is a public and notorious fact that I have never paid for chamber negotiations or rattles under the table.
Correa reacts in this way in a letter addressed to the president of the Budget Commission of the National Assembly, Deputy Benicio Robinson, referring to a publication that appeared in the column AS IS, from the newspaper La Prensa on October 19 last.

“I want to make my position clear, in the sense of DEMANDING that any destination that is given to public funds, related to the ratification of the law contract with Minera Panama, be invested directly in works to improve schools, health and sports centers in my 8-8 circuit”, said Deputy Mayin
“I want to tell you, Mr. President, that although I am not aware of the veracity of the content of the aforementioned publication, which has not been officially clarified, so I assume it to be true, I do want to make my position clear, in the sense of DEMAND that any destination given to public fundsrelated to the ratification of the legal contract with Minera Panamá, is invested directly to works to improve schools in Don Bosco, Juan Díaz, San Francisco, Río Abajo and Parque Lefevre”, explained the deputy in her letter.
