Four people were arrested in Paris this Friday in connection with the appearance of the body of a 12-year-old girl in a suitcase. The event, as reported by the regional press, took place in the 19th district of the French capital. The young woman’s body was found in the lower part of the building where she lived.

For the moment, the French Police have declined to comment on the investigation, although according to Efe, the body shows clear signs of violence, such as cuts in the throat area. The remains of the young woman were bound with packing tape.

At the moment, the precise causes of death are unknown and, according to Le Mondethroughout today an autopsy will be performed to determine them.

The images of the security cameras have facilitated the identification of a woman. The family of the victim had reported the disappearance on Friday afternoon when she did not return from the school where she was studying.

It was a homeless person who, surprised by the presence of an abandoned box, reported his discovery to the police around eleven o’clock at night, according to local media.
