President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, in his evening address, called on residents of the territories occupied by Russia “to hide from Russian mobilization by any means.”
“Avoid subpoenas. Try to leave for the free territory of Ukraine,” Zelensky said. Those who still end up in the Russian army are called upon by the President of Ukraine to sabotage any activity of the enemy, to interfere with Russian operations, to transfer all important information to the Ukrainian side, including about bases, headquarters and ammunition depots.
“And at the first opportunity, move to our positions. Do everything to save lives and help liberate Ukraine,” Zelensky stressed.
On September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced “partial mobilization”. The item indicating the number of people to be drafted into the army is classified in the decree on mobilization. “New Newspaper. Europe” reported that this paragraph refers to the call of a million people. A Meduza source close to one of the federal ministries said that 1.2 million people are going to be drafted into the army.
