The German Bundesliga clubs Eintracht Frankfurt and 1. FC Köln have been fined by UEFA for fan riots at their recent European Cup away games.
Eintracht has to pay a fine totaling 45,000 euros for what happened during the Champions League game on September 13 at Olympique Marseille. The people of Cologne even have to shell out 100,000 euros.
Frankfurt were also imposed two suspension penalties for a period of one year: a partial closure of at least 1,000 seats at the next European Cup home game and a fan exclusion at an away game.
Due to the misconduct of some of the supporters in the next two away games in the Conference League, the people of Cologne are also not allowed to sell tickets to FC fans.
