If we have felt orphaned after the end of ‘Better Call Saul’, pay attention. Apple TV+ has announced that they will be the house for the new Vince Gilligan series. A drama starring none other than Rhea Seehornwhich is quite a reunion after closing his character this past summer.
And, practically, this is the only information released from the platform. Yes we know, via dead linethat fiction will move away from the criminal world and drugs to which we have become accustomed between this series and ‘Breaking Bad’ to enter a real world with a touch of ‘The Twilight Zone’.
Thus, the series (which does not have a title yet) would be set in our world but with a twist of reality in which the human condition is explored. And in the center is the Emmy nominee who, according to Gilligan, It was already taking Hollywood to give her a series for herself:
“After 15 years, I thought it was time to take a break from writing antiheroes…and who is more heroic than the brilliant Rhea Seehorn? It’s about time she had her own series and I feel lucky to work with her.”
The series comes from Sony and will have a minimum of two seasons. There are no more details about the distribution of this fiction, which will have Gilligan as showrunner. On the other hand, Jeff Frost and Diane Mercer will be executive producers.
