Yolanda Díaz has presented this Friday to the coordinators of Sumar, the electoral platform with which the vice president hopes to present herself to the general elections at the end of 2023 outside the acronym of Podemos. The list of 35 people19 for women and 16 for men, will be the core of what Díaz has called his “country project for the next ten years.”

Each coordinator will be in charge of a specific area and of organizing the Sumar work teams -Economy, Justice, Democratic Quality…-, a cast of well-known names in their fields, but with little political weight. Others also stand out, such as the political scientist Ignacio Sanchez-Cuencathe sociologist Cesar Rendueles, Yayo Herrero and the trade unionist Agustin Moreno, which currently occupies a seat in the Madrid Assembly for United We Can. Galicia will also have its share in the team with Martha Lois, spokesperson for Compostela Aberta in the Santiago City Council. She was also the one who registered the Sumar association in June and will be the visible face of the movement in the autonomous community.
